Timelines

A project needs a sequence: what comes first, what follows, and what can run alongside it. Migreat! records that sequence as a timeline of phases, and shows at a glance how the plan is holding up — for one project, or several at once.

Phases, not loose tasks

A timeline in Migreat! is made of phases, each with a planned and an estimated start and end date, plus a completion date once there is one. A standalone milestone object doesn't exist separately: a milestone is a date field on the phase itself, not its own entity with its own lifecycle.

The Gantt view

The plan shows up as a Gantt view: phase bars on a timeline, with a separate marker for an estimated versus an actual date, and arrows showing which phase depends on which. This view isn't limited to one project — you can also show it across several projects at once, to see in one picture how a portfolio's plans relate to each other.

What the Gantt view doesn't do is let you drag a phase to reschedule it: you change a date on the phase screen itself, not by dragging inside the Gantt.

The Gantt exports to PDF, and you can send it straight to an email recipient from inside the report itself.

What Migreat! does not do

• No standalone milestone object. A milestone is a date on the phase, not its own entity.
• No drag-to-reschedule inside the Gantt view itself. You change a date on the phase.
• No resource rows inside the Gantt view. Who's assigned to what is in capacity management, not this screen.

Which plan holds this

Timelines and the Gantt view are in every plan, same as projects themselves.
