AI in Migreat!
Every vendor's website has AI on it by now. The question that actually matters isn't whether a tool has AI, but what happens to what it hands back: does it show up as a suggestion you act on, or does something in the system change without anyone standing between the two?
In Migreat!, the answer is the same everywhere: AI suggests, a person confirms. None of the features below save or act on anything without that confirmation.
Where AI shows up in Migreat!
On an idea that isn't complete yet, Migreat! can draft a concept — a description, an estimate of cost and duration, a suggested strategic theme for it to sit under. That draft shows up in a separate, clearly marked block, never straight into the real fields. Separately, Migreat! can estimate an idea's likelihood of success on request, and flag ideas that look similar to each other.
On a dependency between phases, Migreat! can summarise the impact in plain language, including advice on how you might limit the damage — always advisory, never a decision.
On strategic themes and objectives, Migreat! can suggest a draft theme or objective based on your existing portfolio, which you accept, edit or reject yourself.
On a project's score, Migreat! explains how that score came about — the score itself is fixed and isn't calculated by AI, only the explanation of it is AI-generated.
On capacity and portfolio planning, Migreat! can add a plain-language explanation alongside the numbers you already see: where the pressure sits and why.
⚠️ This one and the Teams feature below currently answer in Dutch only, regardless of your account's language setting — the underlying service has no language switch yet. Treat the explanation as a bonus in the language it comes in, not as a feature that already speaks English.
On a connected Teams channel, Migreat! can recognise messages as a possible action, risk, issue or decision, and stage that as a suggestion — never created automatically. How you switch that on is covered on the actions and decisions page. As with the capacity and portfolio explanations above, this feature currently generates its suggestions in Dutch only, whatever language your channel is in.
When setting up the system, AI helps map columns during a bulk import, draft a project type, and suggest tasks from a product name — each time as a suggestion you confirm before it's saved.
When reading a timeline, Migreat! can translate the screen for someone who'd rather read it in another language. That's a display only — nothing is saved.
What Migreat! does not do
- No AI chat, no chatbot and no copilot. Every AI feature works as one question and one answer, with no follow-up questions and nothing remembered from an earlier exchange.
- No autonomous AI that creates, changes or deletes anything on its own. Whatever AI suggests, you confirm yourself before it lands anywhere.
- No AI that watches by default. The Teams recognition stays off per project until someone deliberately turns it on.
Which plan holds this
Which AI features are available follows the plan of the feature they belong to: AI on strategic themes is Enterprise because strategic themes are, AI on capacity planning is Enterprise because capacity management is, and so on. There's no separate AI plan on top.
